After months of waiting on this door where it came from some province in China that we estimate is about 8,000 miles from Chattanooga, we finally got it installed yesterday.  The door measures 6' x 8' and weighs 1,100 lbs.  Each door leaf weighed 450 lbs taking 4 people to carry and lift onto the hinges.  This door got pretty good mileage coming in at about $1.50 per mile.  All I can say is Hooah! 

Now we have to install the brick and wood trellis rafters above the door and we are ready for the party.  More pictures and video of the Cromie Entry Door and Trellis Project are on there way.

Update!

We have laid the brick and installed the trellis rafters and it looks "marvelous".
